Statement of the Group of 77 and China during the Fourth Meeting of the Working Group on the Regular Budget and TCF Targets for 2020-2021, delivered by H. E. Ambassador Omar Amer Youssef, Permanent Representative of Egypt

Co-Chairs,
1. The Group of 77 and China wishes to thank the Co-Chairs for convening this meeting.
2. The Group has already expressed its views on different aspects of the proposed Regular Budget and TCF targets for the next biennium, as well as other matters such as the price adjustment methodology and After Service Health Insurance (ASHI).
3. The Group wishes to thank the Secretariat for the information that has been provided thus far, including at today’s meeting. The Group continues stand by the views and positions that it has expressed at the previous meetings of this Working Group.
4. Apparently a majority of Member States would like to see a revised budget proposal by the Secretariat. This is a view that the Group can support. We hope that such a revised proposal would better address various concerns and priorities that the Group has articulated in the previous meetings of this Working Group.
