Mr. Chairman,
1. The Group of 77 and China wishes to thank you, Ambassador Antonio Guerreiro, for convening this third round of informal consultations.
2. The Group would like to express its support for your nomination as President of the Ministerial Conference on Nuclear Safety, to be held in Vienna from 20th to 24th June 2011. The Group reiterates its full confidence in your competent and able leadership, and is convinced that you will guide us in obtaining fruitful outcomes.
3. The Group believes that it is important to ensure balance in the geographical distribution of the officers, speakers and panellists of the Conference and the participation of representatives from developing countries.
4. Finally, the Group remains ready to collaborate with you in the course of these informal consultations and wishes to assure you of its full support and cooperation.
